My work has specifically referenced the natural world in terms of my selection of materials. I often have a clear preference for everyday, unprocessed materials, and this is something all my projects have in common.I pay special attention to changes in the surrounding environment, such as variations in the quality of light, or the evolution and/or destruction of a landscape.
I feel that Arte Povera is a major influence on my work, and I also feel strong connections to the the work of artists such as Ana Medieta or Magdalena Awakanoviz.
